Margaritas. Saving money. Great food. You are quite welcome.
They don’t know specifically who created the margarita, but whoever it was…we salute you.
TangoTab’s own, Bailey’s Prime Plus, was named by Zagat on of the 5 Best Restaurants Around Northpark Mall. From their magnificent dining room, great bar and drinks, their private dining rooms for events, great sides, and, of course, the main event, the prime steaks. Personally, I’m partial to the bone-in ribeye, but everything they prepare is excellent.

Stop by yourself and Get $20 Off Dinner at Bailey’s Prime Plus from TangoTab and enjoy the award-winning food and drink first hand.
They say that the most amazing gift that you can give to someone is your heart and many people share this gift with another every year on February 14. On this day it is tradition for lovers to send flowers, exchange gifts, send each other “valentines” and top the night off with a fine dinner. It is fun to see how couples try to get creative and show that person how special they are.
We know that there is a lot that goes into planning the perfect Valentine’s Day for that special someone. So, this year TangoTab is here to help you with that. Here is a list of some of our favorite dinner options for this Valentine’s Day:
So, as we said from the beginning that “the most amazing gift you can give someone is your heart” another amazing gift is to give someone in need a meal. Remember with TangoTab, “When You Eat… They Eat.” Have a Happy Valentine’s Day.
Love,
Well, we were caught! Our gift of 40k meals to Minnie’s Food Pantry was featured on DFW Reporting – News Without the Blues! DFW Reporting is the first news team that only focuses on positive news, and they loved our message and contribution toward feeding the hungry in North Texas. Click here to view the video! and read the story below!

Every week, three hundred families are fed with the help of Minnie’s Food Pantry.
“When you volunteer in this pantry, and you see some of the people that come in, it just could be anybody,” said Andre Angel, CEO of TangoTab. “It could be you, me, or anybody else that’s just like us.”
TangoTab is a dining resource that helps hungry patrons find a restaurant offering a deal to dine for a discount. Angel has found a way to encourage diners to visit his website, and give back to the needy in North Texas.
“As they use one of these offers, we are effectively donating a meal to a hungry family or a hungry child,” said Angel.
In honor of Martin Luther King Day, TangoTab donated forty thousand meals to Minnie’s Food Pantry. The tens of thousands of meals will soon fill the hungry bellies of North Texas residents.
“They come in on a daily basis between Wednesday and Saturday, lining up in front of the pantry, and picking up some food so they can feed their families,” said Angel.
Founder of Minnie’s Food Pantry, Cheryl Jackson, says she was once in her patrons shoes. She was forced to feed her family from a food pantry, receiving a brown paper bag filled with food she says she couldnt make a single meal with. She has now created a place where those in need can come and find food and comfort.
“Thousands of people have walked this place and they have cried as they were walking out the doors,” said Jackson. “When I see them cry, they’re crying for different reasons why my tears were shed when I walked out that door. They’re crying because they’ve received so much more than they ever ever thought they would get.”
Through the generosity of the donations by TangoTab, Jackson’s dream of feeding those in need is sustained. She thinks its most fitting the donations were given on the day in honor of Martin Luther King.
“I think Martin Luther King says it best,” said Jackson. “He said, ‘I had the audacity to believe that people can receive three meals a day.’ Well you know what? He had the audacity, I had the dream, and the dream continues through Minnie’s Food Pantry and Tango Tab, and I’m so thrilled.”
Just like the hungry consumer searching for a deal at their favorite dive or diner, Minnie’s Food Pantry is always looking for volunteers and donations.
Watch the video in HD above produced by DFW Reporting – the only news team in Texas that only reports on positive news! The video reported by Journalist Katherine Lane and shot by Videographer Chris Ghanbari.
Guided by Martin Luther King’s quote, “I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day…” TangoTab set out on a mission to feed 25,000 hungry North Texans through Minnie’s Food Pantry, in December.
Through the generosity of our consumers and supporters, we exceeded our expectations and were able to generate enough meals to feed 40,000. In honor of MLK Day, we presented a check to Ms. Cheryl Jackson, the Founder and President of Minnie’s Food Pantry.
TangoTab is a free dining resource where participating restaurants extend great offers to attract consumers to dine at their establishments when they really need them. Every time a consumer dines out using TangoTab, we provide a meal to a hungry person through local food banks so that “when you eat, they eat”.
If you have not had the opportunity to dine at Isabella’s Italia in Frisco, TX yet, you should plan a visit soon! Voted multiple years as the best Italian restaurant in the DFW Metroplex, Isabella’s serves up the most delicious, authentic Italian food in town. Isabella’s is celebrating their 5-year anniversary this year. Speaking of anniversaries, why do so many people pop the biggest question of their lives at Isabella’s Italia – ‘Will you marry me?’
Is it the Euro Fountain on the Piazza?
Is it the Italian Food of Italy that is true to Italy? Tradition, Modern, “Italy Today”
Is it the Private Wine Room that takes you back a few centuries?
Is it the Romantic Outdoor Fireplace on a cool fall evening?
Is it that the staff loves to assist with creating a truly magical evening for such an occasion?
Is it the New Dining Room indoors/outdoors?
Is it the Magic of the Holidays?
is it because Isabella’s is the “Best Neighborhood Restaurant”? (according to D Magazine)
Is it because we have 3 “Premier Patios? (according to D Magazine)
Is it because we have the finest florist/artist next door who can deliver a flower arrangement that exudes love?
Is it because some of our guests met their love in our Wine Bar, which is why he “had to” ask her to spend her future with him right where it all began?
Is it because they had their first date at Isabella’s Italia and the magic was so special and powerful it was the only obvious place to ask the most important question of their lives?
Is it because the many awards that say Isabella’s is the “Most Romantic Restaurant” ?

Our troubling economic times are no secret… However, what’s rarely discussed is the severity of the situation as it relates to food. Many Americans are struggling to provide for their families. There are currently 45 million Americans on food stamps and the number is growing at an alarming rate. But when the going gets tough, Cheryl “Action” Jackson gets going.
Ms. Jackson, the founder of Minnie’s Food Pantry in Plano, Texas, is making a huge difference. For the last four years, the Pantry has been providing nutritious, quality name brand food for families that cannot afford groceries. The Pantry depends on financial and food donations to fulfill their mission, which they do with integrity and utmost respect. They literally roll out a red carpet to welcome the families visiting the food pantry.
After watching Lynn Kowano’s heartwarming news story about Ms. Jackson, who managed to provide over 1,200 struggling families with Thanksgiving dinners, and seeing how Cheryl is trying to find ways to provide meals for those in need for Christmas, TangoTab decided to step up to help make that goal much easier. TangoTab is teaming up with Minnie’s Food Pantry to provide 25,000 meals to North Texans, who struggle to put food on their table, by Christmas.
So, help us reach and even beat that goal by signing up to TangoTab – a real-time, socially driven e-marketing platform that enables individuals and groups to receive promotional offers from restaurants, while directly benefiting humanitarian causes. It’s Simple & free to use… Each time an individual takes advantage of an offer at one of our participating restaurants, we provide a meal to a hungry person so that “When you eat… they eat.”
Andre Angel,
Founder, TangoTab
I wanted to take a quick moment to update you about the many changes we’re making at TangoTab and to ask for your support in promoting our cause – without requiring an individual monetary contribution.
Since launching our website in May, we have made some significant upgrades to our technology and our brand. We are proud of the progress we have made in such a short time. However, the biggest news is the launch of our Movement – When you eat… they eat
TangoTab has taken a radically new approach to helping fight local and global hunger. Every time a consumer uses our free service to find and reserve special offers at their favorite participating restaurants, we provide a meal to a hungry person. Since the average North American eats out 4 times per week, it means 4 hungry people get fed.
If I can feed a child, my network can feed a village… By getting your network of friends and social contacts involved, you can make a real impact. Just imagine that if you get 100 Facebook or social network friends to join you in the fight against hunger, together you could feed over 20,000 hungry people per year.
If you haven’t already, please take a minute to visit http://www.TangoTab.com, sign up to become a member and refer TangoTab to your friends, family and colleagues.
We appreciate your support and look forward to have you join us. Together, we can make a difference.
Thanks,
Andre
P.S. If we’re not in your city yet, we will be there soon. Please go ahead, sign up and share it. This will help us get stronger in our fight against this growing problem. We will keep you posted as to the exact launch date in your city.
Well, it’s about that time of year again; the time when we cut the grass, leave Pops alone for the game and take him out to grab a steak to thank him for not shipping us off to Boarding School when he had the chance. That’s right boys and girls; Father’s Day is upon us, so where are we taking him this year? In a city saturated with steak-houses, how do you pick the one that your Old Man is actually going to enjoy? We’re here to help. We’re also assuming Mom may be coming along for dinner, so we better choose right. Here we go. Oh, and just a heads up, as soon as I post this, all of these restaurants are going to get inundated with a wave of reservations, so call early. And this is a list about the best steakhouses, not the cheapest ones.
For obvious reasons, Nick & Sam’s is kind of the last word when you mention steak-houses in the STATE of Texas. When it comes to food, they know what they’re doing; the best steaks you can imagine, lobster that’ll melt in your mouth, and a wine list that you’d need to be tri-lingual and a sommelier to navigate. (Luckily for you, they have those there.) Five stars all across the board. Show Dad you’re on your way and that he didn’t drop you on your head too many times by pulling up to this award-winning steakhouse. Opulence. You has it. (Bring your wallet)
We’re not going to send you somewhere that isn’t awesome for Father’s Day. The Place at Perry’s was voted The Best Steakhouse in the DFW by Dallas Morning News for 2010, so that’s saying something. A lot of the staff has been working there since it opened up in 2001, so they know their stuff and are going to make sure you and Pops have a great time. It’s located in Uptown, so you can grab a drink with the Old Man afterwards at one of the nearby bars. Perry’s has a decidedly very warm, family vibe to it, but no worries; you can still flirt with the hostess.
This new spot just opened up a location on the buzzing McKinney Avenue, also in Uptown. I guess you have to go to Uptown to get a great steak in this town…? (Hint: No, keep reading.) The two guys that started Morton’s used to work together at the Playboy Club back in the day, so these guys know their meat. Don’t judge me. It’s a chain, but it doesn’t feel like it. This is a place your Dad will be proud to brag about to his golf buddies the next day. And yes, he has golf buddies. Trust me.
The full name of this restaurant is Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House. That just sounds epic. And manly. I would love to have a steak with my Dad here. This place reminds me of the old-school steak-houses you see in the movies with the rich mahogany wood-paneling and everything. A couple of glasses of Scoth here and Dad will be ready to put up with your crap for another year. And it’s in, gasp! Addison if you feel like staying away from Uptown and maybe a little closer to home.
You can add another heavily awarded steak-house to this list. There are a couple locations, and there’s one in, you guessed it, Uptown as well. The outside looks pretty non-descript, but once you step in, you know you’ve come to the right spot. You know the feeling you got when you climbed into your tree-house as a kid? Yeah, multiply that by about a thousand, add an awesome steak and that’s what it feels like when you walk into Bob’s. The food’s incredible too, because that’s why we’re going in the first place, right?
So I guess the key ingredients to opening up a great steakhouse are wood-paneling, a fire-place, steak (obviously), and a badass name. The Keg. I like eating here just to prove I have testosterone pumping through my veins. A Man’s Man’s steakhouse for sure. (And no, that’s not a typo.) The Pecan Sirloin is to die for. Make you wanna slap your Momma. But you would never do that. Because Pops taught you better, didn’t he? They have escargot there too, but I’m not that brave (or hungry).
Amazing food! You’re going to feel like everything you eat for the next week is as bland as a Pop-Tart, (the ones without the icing, we grew up poor). Seriously, the food here will redefine your taste buds. Load up on a huge steak, (this was also awarded The Best Steak House in the DFW by our friends at the Dallas Morning News), a couple glasses of wine, then break out the stogies and smoke it up with Pops in the Smoking Lounge. Seriously, if my Dad was in town, this is where I would take him. Nothing says ‘Happy Father’s Day, thanks for not selling me on eBay’ better than an awesome steak, a couple cocktails, and a surprise cigar. You’re welcome. Tell Pops I said hey.

This award-winning steakhouse provides the perfect mix of French class and mouth-watering steaks that would make even the most devout Texan proud. With remarkable entrees & perfect wine pairings, it becomes deliciously obvious why III Forks is consistently at the top of every concierges’ Ace in the Hole list. Five-stars, 3 Forks, and one unforgettable epicurean experience that any Dad is sure to enjoy. Yes, even yours.
One of things I love about this place is that they publish their recipes online so you can make them on your own. But you would never do that, because there’s no way you can even come close to making it taste as amazing as they do when it comes sizzling fresh out of their kitchen. Ruth Chris definitely belongs on this list of amazing steak-houses in Dallas. Heavily awarded, very comfortable ambiance, just an all-around great place to get your steak on. Dad’s a fan. He told me.
I always feel princely when I eat here. From the valet opening my door to the bartender shaking my hand, The Capital Grille pays excellent attention to every detail ensuring a very comfortable dining experience. They have a superb cocktail menu & of course, steaks that will make you glad you’re a carnivore and this high up on the food chain. And if you’ve had a really good fiscal year so far, may I suggest opening with the Grand Plateau Appetizer; Jumbo crab, North Atlantic Lobster, Shrimp cocktail & oysters… Make Dad feel like a V.I.Poppa.
There you have it folks, my choice of the Top 10 Steak-Houses for Father’s Day in Dallas. Again, if your favorite place didn’t make the list, I apologize; we have a lot more lists coming out of the culinary closet. I wish you and your Father a very Happy Father’s Day. I know mine did the best he could do with what genetics blessed him with. Spend a couple bucks, take your Old Man out, let him know you appreciate everything he helped you with and all the life lessons you learned from him along the way. Life is short, so enjoy every last bite.
